Please note that DOT5.1 and DOT5 are different!
Unlike the old silicon-based DOT5, DOT5.1 is refined and based on the same glycol-based components as DOT3 and DOT4. It is characterized by a high wet boiling point (boiling point when used for a long period of time) and excellent viscosity (fluidity) at low temperatures. In other words, DOT5.1 is not as highly hygroscopic as the old DOT5, and does not require frequent replacement. It can be used in the same way as DOT3 and DOT4.

Replace the entire amount (1 to 1.5 liters) at the time of vehicle inspection once every two years.
